Andreas Hatveit wins the 10th anniversary event with clear blue skies, a perfectly prepared slopestyle, and an excellent riding level, the Austrian Freeski Open by Atomic celebrated their 10th birthday this Saturday. Reigning champion Andreas Hatveit (NOR) defended his title, while Gus Kenworthy (USA) took second and Øystein Bråten (NOR) got third. Toni Höllwarth (AUT) became Austrian Champ.

Easy Park, Superpipe and the Medium Line in Central Park are in great shape and already thrilling riders from far and wide. The ProLine in Central Park is also open since Saturday, 14.1.2012.

Now its really going off!!
Despite heavy snow falls, which brought massive amounts of fresh powder snow to the Kitzsteinhorn, the fully dedicated Snowpark crew still managed to finish the Pro Line of the existing Medium Line in Central Park very quickly. The Setup offers  great variety, even before the Cental Park is extended further and optimised in the next few days:

Everything is still easy in Easy Park!
The simplest Jibel elements are also, of course, waiting for the first high flights by beginners: everyone can really try their first jumps and slides here, on a fine beginner 3er Kickerline followed by simple Jibel elements. Advanced riders also get their money´s worth in the Easy Park. A variety of Lines is guaranteed by the connection to Central Park.   

Austria´s biggest Superpipe
This olympic standard Pipe, 160m long and 6,3m high, is in great form again after so much new snow has fallen. The Pipe and Parks are freshly shaped by the Snowpark crew every day.

On that note, there is not much more to say except, up onto the glacier and into the Park!  

And don´t forget: everyone under 19 years old only pays €10 for a day ski pass, every Saturday until 1.5.2012c!
